The pride of Karnataka Dr Girish Kasaravalli better late than never gets the prestigious ‘Padmasri’ award from the central government on the eve of 62 Republic Day of India. Last year the Padmasri was bestowed on Smt Arundhathi Nag.
The announcement should have come when my wife Smt Vaishali was living was the instant reaction of the doyen of Kannada cinema direction Dr Girish Kasaravalli.
